Highway 153 ramp to Hamilton Place.The Highway 153 South exit to Hamilton Place mall will be closed overnight today and Monday so crews can perform concrete repairs.
The exit ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night so the contractor can cut up, remove and replace concrete, according to a release from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Traffic needed to access Interstate 75 north will be routed around the work zone, and people going to Hamilton Place will need to use the Shallowford Road exit.
Starting Saturday morning, the contractor will reopen the southbound exit lanes as soon as the concrete has set.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use the Shallowford Road exit from I-75.
TDOT trucks and signs and the Tennessee Highway Patrol will help with traffic control.
