A "substantial" water main break has temporarily closed part of McCallie Ferry Road, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Union Fork-Bakewell Utility personnel arrived on the scene Wednesday night and told HCSO officers that McCallie Ferry Road at Dayton Pike will be closed until further notice.
Depending on the extent of the damage, one lane of Dayton Pike northbound at McCallie Ferry Rd. will be blocked anywhere from one to three days, according to Utility and Tennessee Department of Transportation personnel.
