Now that the presents are unwrapped and the cookies eaten, it's time to get rid of the Christmas tree.
Hamilton County's five recycling centers will once again be accepting natural trees at its five recycling locations. The trees will be turned into mulch.
All ornaments, lights and anything other than the natural tree must be removed. People may drop off trees during business hours or leave trees outside the gates after hours. The Red Bank location is close to the road, so residents are asked to bring trees to that location during business hours, if possible.
The centers will accept natural trees through the end of January. Artificial trees are not accepted.
