A 20-year-old man found shot Thursday night in a wrecked Chevy Tahoe has died, Chattanooga police said in a news release.
A shots-fired call came in at 8:57 p.m. and officers went to the 7600 block of North Bishop Drive.
They found the wrecked Tahoe in the roadway and Evan Derry wounded inside. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he later died.
The Violent Crimes Bureau is investigating and police ask anyone with information to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100. Callers can remain anonymous.
