Derrall Stalvey, who is leaving his position as news director for Chattanooga NBC television affiliate WRCB-TV Channel 3, is stepping into a new position with the station's parent company.
Stalvey will move to the newly created role of director of special projects for Sarkes Tarzian Television later this month.
In this new role, Stalvey will manage projects for both WRCB and KTVN in Reno, Nevada.
Projects may include major stories and programs for both television stations concerning societal issues which impact their communities, according to WRCB.
Callie Starnes, who was the assistant news director for WRCB, has been promoted to the news director position.
