Suspects tie up senior citizen, flee after East Ridge home invasion

East Ridge police are looking for a white male and a white female in relation to a home invasion that occurred in East Ridge early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the report of a home invasion at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

The suspects knocked on the door and then forced their way into the home, according to police.

The male was armed with a handgun. They tied the 73-year-old male resident's wrists up before ransacking the home for money and drugs.

When the victim's son and girlfriend arrived home, the suspects fled in a newer silver Infiniti with a Walker County, Georgia partial tag TLE71, tinted windows and an Alabama lanyard hanging from the rear view mirror.

The male is 25-35, 5-foot-9, 150 pounds wearing a white and black ball cap and a gray jacket. The female is 25-35, 5-foot-5, 125 pounds, blonde, wearing a burgundy shirt and jeans carrying a bright orange backpack.
