Two people have been arrested in connection with damage to vehicles and mailboxes in the Graysville/East Brainerd areas of Catoosa and Hamilton County, according to a news release from the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office.

A 17 year-old juvenile and Brett David Scott, 18, both from Ringgold, were arrested by the CCSO on Saturday, July 15. Both men were booked into the Catoosa County Jail on 4 counts of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass, the release states.

The CCSO says both men will also be facing charges in Tennessee.

Last week the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said multiple windshields were crushed in by items being thrown from a passing vehicle, and in several incidents the victim's windshield was shattered.

Investigators are working to determine if any additional individuals played a role in these crimes. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
