A man wanted in a 2016 slaying in Cleveland, Ohio, was caught and arrested this morning by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, according to a news release.
Sheriff's office spokesman Matt Lea said the patrol and SWAT divisions were involved in the arrest of Frank Mozier in the 9100 block of Pleasant Lane, a rural road across Interstate 75 from the Ooltewah Swim Center.
He did not identify the slaying victim and gave no details about the actual arrest, but said Mozier was considered armed and dangerous by Ohio authorities.
Lea said the killing took place April 1, 2016 and authorities believe Mozier fled to Tennessee shortly thereafter.
Mozier also faces charges locally of possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest, Lea said.
He said the investigation is ongoing.
