A multiple vehicle crash blocked the left lanes on I-24 East at the ridge cut, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
The crash, reported at 4:30 p.m. and estimated to be cleared by 6 p.m., affected eastbound traffic with the left lanes blocked.
A video of the aftermath showed fire officials hosing down an automobile.
