Madison, Tenn., man's body found in deer carcass dump, death investigation underway

LAWRENCEBURG - A death investigation is underway after authorities say a Nashville-area man's body was found over the weekend in a deer carcass dump in Lawrence County.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Dustin Lee Sanker, 37, of Madison, Tenn., was discovered dead Sunday at 5:40 p.m. in a wooded area on Long Branch Road, just west of Leoma, Tenn.

Authorities said Sanker's body was found by a man who said he had gone looking for deer antlers.
