BlueCare health fair is Saturday
BlueCare Tennessee will partner with Chattanooga area church leaders to host a Faith, Fitness and Family Health Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at East Side Elementary School.
The event, which is free and open to the public, offers a variety of health education and screenings. Blood pressure and body mass index screenings will be available to everyone, and attendees must bring their insurance ID card for well-child checkups or breast cancer screenings.
Gloves Up for Grayson is Saturday
Local nonprofit Grayson's Ladder will host a boxing event at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday to benefit rare disease research and treatment.
General admission tickets for adults are $20, and $10 for those age 18 and younger and are available at the door or online at graysonsladder.org/glovesup.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and boxing starts at 7 p.m.
Cancer Survivors Day is Sunday
CHI Memorial will celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Local cancer survivors and their families are invited to the social and educational event, which is free and open to the whole survivor community regardless of where individuals received treatment.

Mobile lung CT offers screenings
CHI Memorial's mobile lung CT coach will offer screenings at CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga from 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
The test looks for signs of lung cancer in otherwise healthy people and is covered by private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid for certain high-risk individuals, such as people age 50 or older with a history of smoking.

CHI Memorial donates Narcan
CHI Memorial distributed 900 doses of Narcan on Friday to local first-responders and law enforcement agencies to help fight the opioid epidemic in Hamilton County.
The units of the life-saving nasal spray came as a donation from Cardinal Health.
Erlanger welcomes Murphy CEO
Mark Kimball, who was recently named chief executive officer of Erlanger Murphy Medical Center, will officially start his new role June 4.
Erlanger hosted a "Meet the CEO" event May 22, enabling the community to meet Kimball, who prior to his appointment with Erlanger served as chief operating officer at NorthCrest Medical Center in Erin, Tennessee.
Murphy Medical Center, based in North Carolina, became Erlanger's sixth hospital April 1.
