A crowd of about 70 people greeted Marine Sgt. Joey Jones at the American Legion Post 112 in Dalton, Ga., Saturday. Sgt. Jones returned home for the first time since a bomb blast took his legs in early August in Afghanistan.

Caleb Brown, the 2-year-old Nashville boy who was hit by a rock while his mother held him during a hike at Fall Creek Falls, continues to recover. Caleb's parents, Tim and Tiffany Brown, held a news conference Wednesday at Spring Creek Road Baptist Church to thank all those who contributed to Caleb's recovery. The family said they will now return to Nashville.

Members of the Soddy Elementary School chorus, the "Soddy Singers," opened the 26th annual Christmas at the Courthouse celebration singing throughout the lunch hour Monday.
