'One Life to Live' actor Nathaniel Marston dies after crash

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Soap opera actor Nathaniel Marston has died from his injuries following a crash last month in rural Nevada.

He was 40 years old.

Marston was best known for his role as Dr. Michael McBain on ABC's "One Life to Live," from 2001 to 2007, and as Eddie Silva in CBS' "As the World Turns." IMDB.com listed his most recent roles in 2011.

The Washoe County Medical Examiner and Coroner's Office said Thursday that Marston died at about 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says the crash happened the night of Oct. 30 on State Route 447 near Nixon.

Marston suffered critical injuries after being ejected from a truck that overturned. Authorities say the exact cause and manner of his death are pending further investigation.
