MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Prosecutors are seeking to revoke bond for Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold after reports that he was involved in a domestic violence incident.

Arnold is free while he awaits a jury trial on charges that he, his uncle, and his chief of accounting and administration illegally profited off inmates through the sale of electronic cigarettes.

The Daily News Journal reports the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is probing allegations of domestic violence against Arnold, although no charges have been filed.

Still, prosecutors say in court documents there is probable cause to believe Arnold committed a crime while free on bond.

A hearing on Arnold's pretrial release status is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Nashville.
