NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities say two men have been charged in the fatal shooting of a man on New Year's Day in Nolensville.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says Miles Richardson Holt, of Franklin, and Jonathon Kyle Elliott, of Antioch, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of 43-year-old Robert Ward.

Holt and Elliott were each charged with criminal homicide. They were being held on bond at the Williamson County Jail on Wednesday.

Investigators say Ward was found shot to death inside his home on Jan. 1. Agents say a 10-year-old child was inside the home at the time of the shooting, but was not injured.

It was not immediately clear late Wednesday if Holt and Elliott had lawyers who could comment on their cases.
