Ringgold police are searching for a woman who robbed a pregnant employee at a local hotel.
On Aug. 14, a female entered the Days Inn at 5435 Alabama Highway about 11:45 p.m. Originally acting like a customer, the woman pulled out a box cutter, jumped over the front desk and demanded money from the pregnant clerk.
The clerk handed cash to the robber, who fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is white with a slim to medium build and long blonde hair.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333.
A confidential call could result in a cash reward of up to $1,000.
