School enrollment up by 456 students

Enrollment in Hamilton County Schools has climbed to 41,590 students, up 456 students compared to the same period last year, according to 10th-day figures released this afternoon.

Elementary schools grew the most, posting a 436-student gain. Middle schools overall lost six students while high schools in the district picked up 26 students, the figures from the Central Office show.
