Hamilton County Criminal Court Judge Barry Steelman has moved a hearing date for a 20-year-old man charged with firing into a crowd at Coolidge Park more than a year ago.
Taurean Patillo faces five counts of attempted first-degree murder, five counts of aggravated assault, five counts of reckless aggravated assault, one count of using a firearm during a felony and one count of reckless endangerment in his next court date scheduled for Aug. 29.
Anthony Frieson, also charged in the shooting, faces the same list of alleged crimes on the same date. Lonta Burress, Jr. was also charged in the March 2010 shooting, but a key witness changed his story during a juvenile court hearing, which forced his release.
The shooting injured five in a crowd of hundreds, causing immediate panic and community outcry in the North Shore area last year.
