Officials with the Chattanooga Zoo say an inspection from the U.S. Department of Agriculture found no violations.

The routine inspection by USDA inspector Susanne Brunkhorst took place Tuesday, according to Robin Derryberry, a spokeswoman for the zoo.

The release was sent out about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and attempts to reach the USDA for confirmation were unsuccessful.
