Lecia EubanksThe Walker County Chamber of Commerce will host its 2012 annual membership dinner Jan. 26 at the Walker County Civic Center in LaFayette.
The program begins at 6:30 p.m. and will include the passing of the gavel from current Chairwoman Lecia Eubanks to incoming Chairwoman Vickie Hodge. Also, the winners of 2011 Member of the Year and Small Business of the Year honors will be announced.
Members of the Walker County Community Theater will perform the play "Graceland," which revolves around two friends who are trying to be the first to arrive at the gates of Graceland, the late Elvis Presley's Memphis home, before it opens to the public.
The event costs $50 for an individual seat or $500 for a reserved corporate table of eight, and reservations must be made by 5 p.m. on Jan. 20.
