Chattanooga Police seeking suspect in home robbery

Crime Stoppers this weekend is seeking one of two suspects in a Jan. 1 home invasion.

According to a Chattanooga police news release, two men knocked at the door of Apt. 1022 at 959 Gateway Ave. at 1:50 p.m. When the tenant opened the door, the men forced their way inside, the release stated, and one man held a pistol.

The men demanded the victim's wallet, took his debit card and demanded his PIN number. Then they removed cash from his account, the release stated.

Police are looking for Joshua L. Timmons, 23, on a warrant for aggravated robbery.

Timmons is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His last known address is 1105 Grove Street, Apt. A.

Anyone with information leading to Timmons' arrest could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000. Call 423-698-3333.
