'Painter's Way' quilt class in Cleveland, Tennessee

The Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland, Tenn., is hosting a workshop by award-winning quilter Loretta Painter of Norris, Tenn., on Saturday, March 5.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the museum center on East Inman Street. A sewing machine is required for the class.

Painter will teach a class based on one of her award-winning quilt designs. Participants will make one block in which the striped fabric will do most of the work for them. Interested quilters may visit the museum to see an example of the block or the quilt.

Class fee is $40 for museum members, $45 for nonmembers. Participants will receive a small supply list of needed materials for the class upon registration.
