Police official to speak to Chattanooga Tea Party

Chattanooga police Detective Phil Grubb, president of the International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 673, will speak at 7 p.m. today at the Chattanooga Tea Party meeting.

Grubb will speak on the issue of take-home cars for police officers.

The meeting will be held at the Home Builders Association of Southern Tennessee at 3221 Old Harrison Pike. Attendees are asked to RSVP via the Chattanooga Tea Party's Facebook page.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted.
