Chattanooga police were called when about 300 teens began fighting tonight at Coolidge Park and shots reportedly were fired.

Chattanooga police and Crime Suppression Unit members converged on the North Chattanooga park just before 10 p.m.

By about 10:20, Chattanooga Police Sgt. Rick Mincy said two people were in custody and the hunt was on for one male believed to be carrying a .38-caliber handgun. Mincy didn't think anyone was injured.

Bunches of teens stood on street corners around the park and on Frazier Avenue. Mincy said unsupervised teens hang out at the park often.

He said the fight tonight was like one that happened March 28, 2010, when five young people were shot in the legs. Three people were arrested.
