The Hamilton County grand jury indicted local criminal defense attorney Hank Hill on charges of DUI and violation of the implied consent law Wednesday.

Police arrested the 62-year-old attorney after the officer saw his white 1984 Isuzu pickup truck in a ditch off 600 Key Hulse Road on Signal Mountain on April 24.

The officer could smell alcohol on Hill, according to court documents. Hill said he'd been drinking. The officer found four empty beer cans in the truck.

Hill is scheduled to appear before criminal court Judge Don Poole on Tuesday.
