Chattanooga police seek burglary suspect

A suspect in an April 19 home burglary on Caruthers Road in Chattanooga is the subject of this weekend's Crime Stoppers.

Chattanooga police said the burglar broke into 714 Caruthers Road and stole money, jewelry and the victims' IDs.

Police have named Travis Tawunne Sims as a suspect and issued warrants on charges of aggravated burglary, theft of property and violating probation on a separate burglary conviction.

Sims, 30, is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 140 pounds. His last known address is 3831 Rae Trail, Chattanooga.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts could be eligible for a confidential cash reward of up to $1,000. Call 423-698-3333.
