Motorist shoots himself after long high-speed chase

A high-speed chase that began about 3 a.m. Saturday in Hamilton County ended when Georgia State Troopers pushed the vehicle into a median barrier in Bartow County and the driver shot himself, reported Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright.

His condition is critical.
