WRCB: Lee University student honored for volunteering after the storm

Bradley County looked like a war zone after five tornadoes ripped through the area, killing nine people and injuring nearly 100 on April 27, 2011.

Lee University junior Daniel Murch volunteered the day after the storms and never looked back.

"I still felt hopeless for them. It was like they were looking for someone," explains Murch. "I was like, it can't be that hard. I'll do it. Little did I know what I was getting myself into."
