The Hamilton County Council of Parent-Teacher Associations will host its annual Founder's Day luncheon on Wednesday.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by sending a check to Hamilton County Council of PTAs, 3074 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, TN, 37421.
The event, slated for 11 a.m. at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, commemorates the first PTA convention in Washington, D.C., in 1897. The group will honor past presidents and hand out special awards to PTA schools and leaders from around Hamilton County.
