The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who allegedly stole a wallet accidentally left at checkout in a Food City grocery store.
According to a press release, shortly after 5:00 p.m. on December 8th, the victim left her wallet on a checkout counter and the next customer behind her paid for her own order and took the wallet before leaving the store.
The suspect, who is a white female with dark shoulder-length hair, was caught on video and was wearing jeans and a long sleeved white t-shirt.
She was also riding one of the store's electric carts.
