The perils of white paper?

We thought we had heard it all.

We hadn't.

Over in Britain, a consultant is telling nurseries they should have their toddlers use non-white paper for coloring and drawing -- to reflect racial differences, The Telegraph newspaper reported. And when asked their favorite color, teachers should reply "black" or "brown" -- to promote racial harmony.

You may find that silly or even ridiculous, but we in the United States shouldn't laugh too hard: The British adviser developed those "anti-bias" guidelines based on "multicultural" efforts first devised right here in America.
