Good deed: A helping hand at the Hunter Museum

A helping hand at the Hunter Museum

Last month, near the Hunter Museum parking lot, I tripped on a curb and fell flat on my face. Unconscious for moments, I woke to find three Good Samaritans helping me. I am told a young woman on a bicycle saw me fall and called 911. Two young men administered proper first aid, not moving me, but talking to me, trying to make me comfortable and calm until the EMT's arrived. They also alerted my friends who were in the car and did not know I had fallen.

I hit my head and mouth and was bleeding profusely, but the happy ending is there was no concussion or broken bones. The care by the EMT's and the Erlanger emergency room staff was excellent.

The kindness of these three young people was so appreciated. Thank you.
