Good Deed: Salon owners give back to community

Salon owners give back to community

photo Mary and Hunter Hughes

Mary and Hunter Hughes own eight area Great Clips Salons. This husband and wife entrepreneur team is always finding a creative way to give back to their community, especially when it concerns veterans and those who are going through cancer treatments.

Their recent endeavor gave free haircuts to all veterans and first responders as a thank you for their service to the country.

This spring they will help patients facing hair loss through chemotherapy feel better about themselves. It's all part of their corporate responsibility to the people who support them. They say their employees seem happier and more productive when they have a chance to help others.

Thank you Mary, Hunter, and your first-class team of professionals for your continued kindness.
