Good Deed: Sunday School class has project idea to help homeless

In this extreme cold weather, we, who are fortunate, must do everything possible to ensure the less fortunate are off the streets and provided food and shelter.

The Seekers Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Manchester, Tenn., provides supplies for the operation of the Shepherd's House in Tullahoma. Money is collected each month; supplies are bought and delivered to the house. Class members have done this for the past four years.

This would be a great project for other Sunday school classes that may be looking for a way to help those in need. Shepherd's House survives on donations from churches, businesses and individuals.

I am so proud of this class and the help they offer to the Shepherd's House.
