Cub Scout Pack 614 in Athens, Tenn., had a little surprise waiting for them recently on a campout.
When they woke up one morning during their weekend trip, all of their supplies had been stolen. The employees at Rock Creek Outfitters heard about their loss, and they immediately stepped into action and provided the kids with replacements for all of the camping equipment that was taken. These young scouts learn about helping and serving others. Here's a great lesson they learned about kindness, generosity and giving back by complete strangers.
That's a merit badge with a lot of meaning.
