Robinson is clear choice in District 4

Only one candidate in the District 4 school board race, Tiffanie Robinson, has the requisite skills and expertise to work well with her peers to hold the superintendent of Hamilton County Schools accountable for achieving positive academic growth for all of the district's schools and students.

Voters in District 4 should take the time to review Ms. Robinson's website at tiffanierobinson.org to think about her life experiences, the diversity of her campaign team, the creative change recommendations in her platform of increased transparency, improved accountability, enhanced community involvement and the establishment of equity of opportunity in all of our Hamilton County public schools.

Our current school board, on whose watch student performance has deteriorated to an alarming degree, has failed our community and our students by not properly setting stringent, clear performance guidelines and benchmarks for our superintendent to achieve, on a rigorous, yet reasonable, timeline.

Close supervision and monitoring of our superintendent's performance to insure that not just acceptable, but hopefully superior, academic growth of our students will occur in all public schools is mandatory.

Please elect Tiffanie Robinson to the school board District 4 seat.

Trump could beat media's election odds

The odds of Donald Trump being elected president in November would seem, on the surface, to be nearly impossible. After all, look at his opposition: media giants ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, The New York Times, Washington Post and San Francisco Examiner.

When added to this the millions of voters in Chicago, L.A., and many other major cities where people are paid to vote Democrat over and over, he seems to have an insurmountable obstacle ahead. This includes employees wholly "owned" by Barack Obama in many government branches, including the FBI, CIA, Justice Department, Supreme Court, Treasury, EPA, unions, federal judges, etc.

This blatant corruption would continue with Mrs. Bill Clinton if she is elected president. But look, "the times they are a'changin'": Recent polls through July 13 show Hillary's numbers plummeting and Trump's support increasing.

We still are a nation with a secret ballot system, and a new "politically incorrect" Donald will save this country.
