Accept the sex God gave you

Privacy of the general public is being taken away. Lawmakers go along with those who push the hardest.

God determined the sex of us long before birth. We are either male or female, no mistakes.

Being born a female gives me the right to live and act as a female. Your private parts dictate where you go and what you should do. As a female, I do not want a male in a restroom with me.

Imagine, an old lady doing her thing and a young man comes to do his thing. Wouldn't that be embarrassing for each of them, regardless of how he was dressed?

The same goes for the male restroom. Restrooms should be "male" or "female"; then there is no mistake where you belong.

It is everyone's right to dress as they please, but don't push your perverted lifestyle on the general public. That should be against the law.

If you are a female dressed as a male, you will be accepted in the "female" restroom; a male dressed as a female will be accepted in the "male" restroom.

What is on the minds of these people? God knew what he was doing. Accept it.

Support Carter in GOP primary

I'm writing to encourage the people of state House District 29 to re-elect Mike Carter as state representative.

I've known Mike for many years, since he was a kid, and he believes in the things I believe in and stand for. I believe in personal freedom and constitutionally limited government. In Nashville, Mike fought for personal property rights, leading the effort to end forced annexation.

He voted to end the Hall Income Tax and to lower taxes for seniors and veterans. He believes in the sanctity of human life and is a strong defender of the Second Amendment.

I spent a year fighting for my country in Vietnam and Thailand. I thought I was fighting for freedom, but when I see the direction our country is heading, sometimes I wonder.

Mike Carter is a good man and he's got the experience and knowledge we need to hold state government accountable.

God hates the sin, not the sinners

It is apparent a recent letter writer doesn't read the Bible or knows very little about it. The Bible does get into the "bedroom" and speaks of sex.

Hebrews 13:4 says, "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled (kept undishonored), for God will judge and punish the unchaste (all guilty of sexual vice) and adulterous." When the Bible speaks of marriage, it is referring to a man and a woman.

God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!

And, no, God did not create homosexuals as homosexuals. If so, would he have created all the people of Sodom and Gomorrah just to destroy them? Never!

He destroyed both cities for homosexual sins because Abraham could not find one righteous person in either city, so he destroyed all - men, women and children. Through Abraham's prayers, his nephew, Lot, and his two daughters escaped. Lot's wife was destroyed because she looked back toward the destruction.

Does God hate homosexuals? No! Does the church hate homosexuals? No!

God and the church hate all ungodly acts of sin. But I'm sure Christian churches can do better at loving the sinners and hating the sins.
