The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga recently received eight tablets along with a $1,000 donation from Jack and Jill of America, Greater Chattanooga Chapter.
The tablets and money will be used in the club's educational programs. The club will use the funds to enhance the reading area in the club's library with appropriate furniture and for downloading books and games on the tablets.
The local chapter of Jack and Jill held a fundraiser this summer to fund the donations.
