There is no greater therapy for a child than the love shown every day at Children's Hospital at Erlanger through the Pet Therapy Program. Volunteers and their trained dogs visit the kids creating a truly positive force.
A wonderful donation was made by Drs. Mark and Ellen McOmie and their daughter, Claire, so that each dog now has its own trading card that owners give out to the patients. The cards have everything you want to know about the dog, including their breed and favorite toy.
The McOmies, dentists in Chattanooga, are also huge animal lovers. It's the smile that matters to them, and that's what you see each day when these dogs visit these children.
