Good Deed: Chattanooga State Spanish Club sponsors food drive

Chattanooga State pitched in to help the Spanish Club make a significant contribution to the immigrant community through LaPaz. The club delivered 42 boxes to La Paz containing nearly 2,000 food items in time for the holiday season.

The Spanish Club offered a prize to classes for the most generous donations. Winners are: first place with 275 items, Associate Professor Rachael Falu and her students; second place: 210 items, Assistant Professor Joshua Tucker and his students; and third place: 200 items, Associate Professor Linda Miller and her students.

The Spanish Club also recognized participation from Christina Jones, Keri Lamb, Erica Lux, Rebeca Balch, Natalie Counts, Anne Nicodemi, Josh Johnson, Rex Knowles, Gladys Pineda-Loher, Oscar Brock, Bonnie Riggs, Math & Sciences Division, Engineering & Information Technologies Division, Student Center, Writing Center, SAILS Program, Human Resources, Continuing Education, Student Life and Institutional Research.
