More than 200 tennis ball slider feet were presented to Siskin Hospital as part of two local students' community service project. After summer tennis camp, Baylor seniors Alec Kadrie and Anne Taylor noticed a lot of leftover balls lying around. That's when they got the idea for their projects. They prepared each tennis ball to slip easily over the feet of orthopedic walkers and made arrangements to present them to the local hospital that specializes in physical rehabilitation. "We thought there was no better place to give them than Siskin Hospital," Alec said.

"It's great that young people like Alec and Anne are thinking of ways to help those with disabilities," said Aileen San Luis, inpatient physical therapy supervisor. "It's just another example of the community support we at Siskin Hospital so appreciate."
