It was just a phone call out of the blue from members of Hickory Valley Christian Church asking for community service opportunities. Talk about a blessing from above.
This team showed up on a Sunday and immediately transformed Erlanger's downtown Zen Garden into a true place of relaxation and comfort for our patients and their families.
The team came armed with rakes, shovels and bags of mulch. A huge thank-you as well to Signal Mountain Nursery for donating plants. We all seem to find nature very restorative, especially when you are hurting. Thank you to a great church and its members for never forgetting others.
