From Sept. 30-Oct. 1, Remote Area Medical (RAM) provided 820 patients free medical, dental and vision services valued at $429,533. The delivery of these services required that numerous resources come together in a collective effort to fulfill the patients' needs. First and foremost, the city of East Ridge administration graciously offered the use of Camp Jordan Arena and the assistance of its outstanding parks and recreation staff.

The Center for Sports Medicine, Vision Hospitality and WRCB-TV 3 responded for a third time to become major supportive partners. Twenty-two organizations altruistically donated their resources for the greater good of our community. Another 19 institutions, professional programs and companies provided services to enhance the lives of the less fortunate among us.

On behalf of the 820 patients and the entire RAM organization, we wish to thank all involved for their empathetic compassion, contributions and generosity.
