Hamilton County School Board member, and Republican candidate for District 9 Hamilton County Commissioner, Chester Bankston, has endorsed Chuck Fleischmann in his bid for the 3rd Congressional District.
"I am proud to stand with my friend Chuck Fleischmann, and I support his campaign for smaller government. We need someone who will represent Hamilton County, and all of the 3rd Congressional District, in a fine manner; someone who understands the issues, and knows that the answers to our problems lie here at home, not in Washington. Chuck is the person who most understands these things, and I look forward to working closely with him as we move Hamilton County forward in the coming years," Bankston said.
"I am honored to have Chester's endorsement, and his confidence in my ability to represent Hamilton County in a Conservative manner. Chester has done a phenomenal job during his time on the school board, and I know he will continue his great service as a commissioner for Hamilton County. In their endorsement of Chester, the Chattanooga Times Free Press said he 'has acted wisely and with an eye for spending money carefully and effectively during his time on the school board.' I know he will continue to do so as a county commissioner, and I will work along side him to keep an eye on federal spending in Washington, and will end the wasteful spending that has burdened our country and local governments," Fleischmann said.
