U.S. Senate committee to question McDonough tomorrow, consider him for federal judge position

The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee will be questioning Chattanooga Chief of Staff Travis McDonough Wednesday to consider confirming him as a federal judge.

McDonough was nominated by President Barack Obama to fill the seat being left by U.S. District Judge Curtis L. Collier.

Spokespersons for U.S. Sens. Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker said in a release today that hearings would start at 1:30 p.m. at Senate offices in Washington D.C.
