U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, R-Tenn., presents President Donald Trump with a signed copy of his baseball card Thursday evening in Washington, D.C.
Fleischmann was present at a congressional baseball practice outside of Washington last week when a gunman opened fire, seriously wounding one top House Republican and four other people.
Fleischmann said he had been walking down the third base line when he heard a popping noise.
"He decided not to shoot me," Fleischmann was quoted saying by CNN.
"The fear factor was horrific. There was blood all over, it was horrible."
