The American Cancer Society will hold the 2011 Hamilton County Life Inspiration Awards on Friday, March 25 from 12-1:15 p.m. at The Chattanoogan.
This is an event to recognize outstanding cancer survivors and caregivers who are making significant contributions in the lives of those facing cancer. (5) cancer survivors who have been instrumental in cancer prevention, education, and/or inspiring others in their fi ght towards recovery will be honored, (5) family/friend caregivers who have provided compassionate care, given emotional strength and inspired a passion for life, and (1) healthcare professional caregiver who has provided care beyond professional expectations and requirements. The Hamilton County honorees are nominated by friends, family, and healthcare professionals through an application/essay form. All nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee, with the top 5 most inspirational stories (in each category) receiving the prestigious Life Inspiration Award. All nominees will be recognized at the luncheon on March 25.
