Amber Brook Garden offers location, style

Amber Brook Gardens' location is one of its best features, says listing agent Chris Trainor of Pratt Home Builders.

Located in the picturesque valley just beneath the ridgeline in Hixson, Amber Brook Gardens is a terrific neighborhood that features single-family homes built with the quality locals have come to expect from the subdivision's developer, Pratt Home Builders. Besides its views of Signal Mountain on one side and a sloping, tree-lined ridge on the other, Trainor said the neighborhood is close to community parks, great schools, shopping, dining, Chickamauga Lake and has easy access to Highway 153 and I-75 for trips farther afield.

"The convenient location would be the first thing I love about the neighborhood," he said. "It all starts with the location. It's just a very pretty setting." Trainor said most buyers have chosen home plans with screened-in porches or big front porches. Many are also building fireplaces on their outdoor patios or making space for flat-screen televisions there, too, creating ways to really live outside amongst the views and fresh air.

Sidewalks winding throughout Amber Brook Gardens invite use from two primary groups of residents. One Trainor calls "downsizers" who love to walk the neighborhood, and the other is young families with small children.

"It's very pedestrian-friendly," Trainor said.

The diverse offering of floor plans offered by Pratt Home Builders range from 1,600 to 2,800 square feet and feature detailed interior trim throughout and hardwood floors.

"You can be preparing dinner in the kitchen and still talking to guests in the great-room,"said Trainor.

Though interested buyers may peruse many plans on Pratt's website, more plans are available at Pratt's design center in North Chattanooga, where clients can also talk with a design consultant about paint and finishes.

Amber Brook Gardens has some complete and move-in ready homes, though there are also open lots available.
