Whisper Creek offers community, amenities

Builder and developer Ival Goldstein says Whisper Creek at Windstone is an outside-the-box neighborhood with homes that people want, allowing his company to "buck" the housing slowdown with 80 sales in just over four years.

"It's not just a neighborhood," Goldstein said. "We have so many different features." Garages and driveways are behind the homes, for instance, leaving the pedestrian-friendly streets lined with front porches, sidewalks and parks.

Whisper Creek is the twelfth and final phase of Windstone 110 homesites all in East Brainerd, meaning residents pay Hamilton County and Tennessee taxes only. Goldstein said one home is always move-in ready, or customers can choose a custom design from 24 one- and two-level floorplans.

The featured, one-story Fairwood plan offers plenty of closet and storage space, an open kitchen, greatroom and dining area and screened-in back porch.

Goldstein said buyers will notice his quality construction, such as screws-only sheetrock for no nail pops, and tongue-and-groove subflooring that won't squeak.

Buyers in this country-feel neighborhood will enjoy total lawn care, Whisper Creek's own private pool and clubhouse, and a free golf or social membership to Windstone Golf Club.

"You won't lift a finger if you're living here," Goldstein said.

Total lawn maintenance includes a diverse landscaping package to compliment each unique home's exterior, irrigation in the front and back yards, even inside a fenced area, comprehensive care for lush lawns and seasonal plantings, mulching and pruning.

Whisper Creek homes have coordinating iron lamp posts and mailboxes and sidewalks on both sides of the street throughout the community.

All Windstone neighborhoods feature a gatehouse entry that is guard-attended from dusk to dawn, stocked fishing ponds, a secured RV and boat parking area, playgrounds and private road maintenance.
