University of Tennessee at Chattanooga linebacker Gunner Miller answers three quick questions about Saturday's season opener at South Florida:

1. Does South Florida's dual-threat quarterback, B.J. Daniels, remind you of anyone the Mocs have faced recently?

Miller: I'd have to say he's similar to [Nebraska's Taylor] Martinez. I don't know that he's straight-ahead as fast [as Martinez], but I know he throws the ball better and he's quick side to side. He's going to make you run really hard.

2. Do you have a sense of where the defense is, heading into the opener?

Miller: Last year statistically we were really good and we let a few games get away from us. Going into the season we just want to work really hard and do what we preach every day, and that's run. If we run we're going to have a chance to be really good this year.

3. Is slowing Daniels and USF's rushing game, which averaged a Big East-best 182.1 yards per game in 2011, the key to the game?

Miller: I think they led the Big East last year in rushing, so they're going to come out and try to run it at us. They've got a good quarterback to run the ball and it's going to be a tough challenge, but I think we're up for it.
